Tasting Notes

With all the magenta radiance of black cherry Jell-O, this grenache rosé is darker and deeper than the multitude of psychological underpinnings that keep you up at night after reading Calvin & Hobbes strips as a grown adult. Each guzzle is a crumbly brown butter linzer cookie laced with almond extract - shortbread-like, with plummy cloudbursts of seedless raspberry preserves, hibiscus tea, and a few leaves of dried spearmint whispering in your ear softly enough that you’re aware of them, but not so quietly that they’d royally screw up an old-fashioned game of telephone.

Pair With:

Lamb curry (or some aloo gobi if you prefer eating plants) with a sidekick of garlicky naan just absolutely glistening with ghee, or some not-too-sweet turmeric-y lemon teacake.

Funk-o-Meter

Like disco music weaving throughout a berry patch like a bumblebee.
