Tasting Notes

Bringing a six-pack of beer to a barbecue? Yawn. I’m bored already. Strive to be a little less predictable than that. While everyone else simply adds to the stockpile of sad cans in the cooler, Show up with this fun fizzy red instead - it’s light and bubbly enough to fit in during the awkward potato chip hours, but still pretty hefty with cherry-pomegranate pie and strawberry skittle oomph that can scrappily stand up to a thick backyard burger infused with Worcestershire sauce, or a Hebrew National hot dog alongside mayo-laden macaroni salad. In a world of people who simply shrug and haul along IPA to a cookout, you gotta dare to be different. Dare to be dolcetto.

Pair With:

A summer barbecue, complete with the works: hand-formed beef patties slapped with yellow American, beer brats, slightly stale Ruffles that have been left out in the sun too long, and ice cream sandwiches - you know the kind, with artificially-flavored vanilla “dairy dessert” pumped between two chocolate sheet cookies that stick to your fingers like fudgy spackle. Reading this in the winter? This dolcetto pét-nat definitely would get handsy with a few floppy slices of delivery pizza.

Funk-o-Meter

There’s an almond-y nuttiness going on that might make you do a double-take.
