Tasting Notes

I don’t believe there will ever be a better wine to drink by the pool, or beach, or as a plump water balloon careens toward your enemies in the baking sun. This Portugese sparkling rosé has the tiniest little squeaking tint of pink and all the puckering acidity of a blue raspberry Warhead. Essentially, it’s the beverage version of determining how many lemon sour patch kids you could fit in your mouth before they start to erode your tooth enamel. But despite the overwhelming tartness, it makes a load of sense in the right setting. Which, ideally, would be aimlessly floating around atop an inflatable unicorn with chlorine in your hair and a glass of this fizzed-up pixie stick liquid in your hand. White Claw, you’ve been hereby replaced. Was White Claw ever really good to begin with? I think you know the answer.

Pair With:

All of the crunchy, salty poolside snacks: potato chips, pretzels, neon orange cheese doodles, and Cool Ranch Doritos - all delicately spot-stained with droplets of chlorine. Pure bliss.

Funk-o-Meter

Whatever funk might be present here is completely obliterated by the crystallized sour powder vibes - share it with that kid from your youth who used to suck on lemons for sport.
